Role purpose As the Retail Coordinator for Emporium, over the 12 month period particular focus will be on shifting the debt position of Emporium. As such, a strong Accounts Receivable background will be ideal.

The split between debt collection and retail coordinator functions is expected to be 70/30, the key purpose of the Retail Coordinator is to provide support to the Retail Manager in managing retailer engagement strategies aimed at maximising the net property income and value of the centre.

Additionally, this role will play an integral part in assisting retailers to make their businesses more successful by providing coordination and dissemination of information and retail support initiatives for retailers.
What will you bring?

You Will Be Responsible For The Following

  • Oversee debt control and minimise debt write offs. The role is focussed on timely collection of billings through established retailer relationships and detailed and timely follow-up. You will also be working with and providing support to business partners in identifying, reporting and managing ways to resolve issues
  • You will ideally have a strong accounts receivable background and have worked in a large complex organisation
  • You will be an outstanding communicator who manages stakeholders in a collaborative manner. You will be able to manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. You will demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, strong analytical skills and be an excellent clear communicator when dealing with customers
  • Experience with systems such as JDE would be advantageous but not essential
The 30% of the role will involve retailer relations in a support function: looking after storage, assisting with retailer induction and on-going engagement;
  • Work closely with other stakeholders in ensuring all pre-trade items are fulfilled prior to a tenancy being handed over to the tenant;
  • Provide support to the rest of the CM team.
