We’re looking for a Corporate Lobby Concierge to join our team! If you go above and beyond in everything you do; are self-motivated and flexible; and have the ability to adapt and respond to change, then read on.

What you'll be doing
The Lobby Concierge team are the faces of 1 Reserve Road. They are the custodians of the reception and switchboard for NSW Health, are responsible for welcoming our staff and visitors, and provide a seamless customer experience. As one of these faces, your role involves delivering customer service to the highest standard and ensuring our spaces operate at maximum efficiency and productivity.

Your day might involve:

  • Provide a professional and warm greeting to all staff, visitors and contractors.
  • Assisting visitors and staff with enquires, directions, building information and local area information.
  • Answering and directing calls for the NSW Health switchboard with up to 150 calls per day.
  • Registering visitors and staff with our visitor management system.
  • Assisting with building access and security passes for a building with 3,000 staff.
  • Maintaining a high level of presentation with our Lobby and reception space.
  • Providing administrational support.
  • Acting as a fire warden in the unlikely event of an emergency
  • Supporting the Meeting Room and Event team when required including setting up rooms and catering.

Your qualities will include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Superior customer service will be at the heart of everything you do.
  • Ability to adapt your service style to suit a diverse range of stakeholders including staff, senior leaders and visitors.
  • Demonstrated Lobby and switchboard experience working in Corporate Concierge, Serviced Offices and Hospitality.
  • Proven experience working autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Experience with visitor management systems and switchboards would be highly regarded.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated ability in providing high level customer service.
  • Experience in managing a reception desk for a large, complex organisation.
  • Advanced computer and keyboard skills including proficiency in Microsoft computer software packages including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge and use of multifaceted telephony system.
  • Ability to work effectively with other staff in a team environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written and ability to liaise with people at all levels.
  • Experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage workload and to work independently with minimal supervision.
