The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Materials Coordinators to join the busy Supply team, with both full time and part time positions available. Materials Coordinators assists with maintaining an efficient and effective imprest to all clinical areas by ensuring all areas have sufficient stock of type and quantity to service needs. The Materials Coordinator assists with the receiving, storing, issuing and delivering of goods for St Vincent’s Private Hospital. The role supports efficient accurate movement of goods across the facility while delivering high levels of customer service and operational support to the Supply Manager.
The skills required are :
Experience working in health care environment (highly desirable).
Healthcare product knowledge.
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience in developing working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
Willingness to learn and participate in development of the position and department.
Commitment to the philosophy , mission , values and ethics and code of conduct of St Vincent’s Health Australia .
Excellent written & oral communication skills.
Experience with use computerised inventory system (desirable).
Essential requirements:
In accordance to guidelines set by NSW Health, all SVPHS employees are required to have up to date vaccinations before commencement. It is encouraged that you ensure your vaccinations are current ahead of time as you may be requested to provide documentation at interview stage.
Criminal record checks will be conducted and will form part of the selection criteria for this role.
