MAX Rate: $630 + Super

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to provide senior modelling and analytical support to further develop recommendations to government on programs administered through strategic delivery.

As a senior data analyst you will be responsible for:

• Analysing large, complex datasets using a variety of causal inference techniques, and present the analyses in various formats for use in reports and other publications.
• Building evidence base for key model assumptions: collecting existing analysis and research, carrying out additional analysis as required and building a strong rationale for each assumption.
• Translating data analysis into high impact communication materials to support high-level decision making.
• Supporting risk assessment: modelling the impact of delivery risks on supply and demand.
• Carrying out ad-hoc analysis: carry out ad-hoc analysis to support the objectives.

You Must Have:

• Demonstrated superior experience of managing large and complex models. Includes ability to quickly understand a new model, its underlying assumptions and key drivers, to recommend structural changes, integrate new data sets, develop sensible logical assumptions and to perform sensitivity analysis
• Demonstrated experience of superior analytical skills. Includes ability to recommend analysis required, manipulate data and error-check their work
• Demonstrated experience of extracting insights from analytical work and translating them into clear high-impact senior-level materials for decision and policy making purposes
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Excellent skills in using Stata, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI are essential
• Desirable: strong working knowledge of Python
• Genuine interest in Education Reform
