The Role

As a Collections Officer you will be given a great degree of autonomy to manage your ledger as you see fit. You will take ownership of the ledger and be tasked with driving recoveries in a timely manner. The industry is moderately regulated and you will be given a basic framework from which to operate within. You will join a positive team environment that/culture has enjoyed a strong period of stability in recent years.

Reporting to the Collections Manager you will be responsible for:

• Collections
• Evaluate customers' ability to pay
• Negotiate payments
• Handle queries
• Assist in legal escalations
• Regular reporting on outstanding debtors
• Queries

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you may come from a variety of backgrounds. Seasoned collections

To be successful in this role you may come from a variety of backgrounds. Seasoned collections officers who enjoy the thrill of the chase are welcome to apply. You are equally welcome to apply if you come from a customer service/complaints/clerical background that has included an element of negotiation. If you feel that working with customers to get the best possible outcome for both parties is a strength, this could be your calling.
