Our Maintenance and Industrial Services Division holds long-standing, key contracts with clients operating in the North West of WA, providing multidisciplinary services to customers in the mining and minerals sector across the Pilbara and surrounding regions.

Due to our growing demands, we are currently seeking experienced HSE advisors, for a number of roles on a 2/1 roster. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join the team on a FIFO basis from Perth or be based locally in the Pilbara. Reporting to the Senior HSE Coordinator, you will be providing HSE advice and activities; and ensuring compliance with company and client OHS standards across our operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure all HSE processes and activities align with relevant HSE legislation and company standards
  • Provide support to site-based leadership teams to ensure compliance with OHS laws, regulations, company policies and guidelines
  • Provide technical advice and initiatives to improve HSE performance during the project / shutdown
  • Delivery of on-site Inductions/ Engagement sessions
  • Actively contribute during prestart and debrief meetings, demonstrate visible leadership through In-field coaching, conduct workplace inspections and process audits
  • Facilitate / Assist with incident investigations, including - data collection and input

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within an operational/shutdown contractor environment
  • Minimum Certification IV in OHS or higher
  • Confined Space, Working at Heights, First Aid, Basic Fire and Gas Testing
  • TapRoot incident investigation training or similar.
  • The ability to develop effective working relationships with supervision and work crews
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian OHS legislation and industry standards
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
