The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the delivery of an ongoing capital investment program (circa $1Bn per annum). The program includes responsibility for the development of asset strategies as well as the planning, development and delivery of new build and redevelopment infrastructure projects. 

Reporting to the Director, Health Capital Program, the Director, Projects, Health Capital Program will provide executive leadership in the procurement and delivery of VHBA's capital projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

The Director, Projects, Health Capital Program will have a deep appreciation for best practice project and program management, the Victorian Government's key infrastructure policy frameworks and working collaboratively with and leading a team of dedicated resources to ensure successful project/program delivery. The successful applicant must also be capable of translating the Department's strategic objectives of ensuring all Victorians are able to access good health, wellbeing and housing into the planning and development of VHBA's capital projects.

This successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Delivery unit's executive team, overseen by the Executive Director, Delivery, and with all VHBA's service lines including Asset Strategy, Planning and Development, Communications and Corporate Services units.
