An opening has come about for a Train Presentation Lead to join the Rolling Stock team based at Craigieburn Train Maintenance Facility. The core function of your role is responsibility for the cleaning and presentation of Metro Trains Melbourne suburban passenger vehicles.

Your new role:

Reporting to the Train Presentation Manager, your role will include the following:
• Passenger Experience Regime (PXR)
o Daily, weekly & monthly reporting in conjunction with external and internal stakeholders.
o Collating report and coordination of contractor personnel
• Weekend and night work to address vandalism, asset degradation and repairs 
• Coordination of contractors (including training), liaison with fleet controllers, RS North Melbourne fleet coordinators and Maintenance Depot Supervisors
• Roster management for all wash plant operators for all wash plants
• Ensure compliance with the Environmental and Sustainability Policy and implementation of relevant requirements of MTM environmental documentation. 

About you:

• A qualification or experience in Transport Planning, Rail Operations, Project Management or other similar business discipline
• Demonstrable experience in train service related railway systems
• Proven experience managing a contractor workforce 
• Ability to work alternate shifts to support business requirements when required
• Confident verbal and written communicator – able to liaise with staff at all levels
• Team player, who understands the importance of sharing information supporting others
• Intermediate computer skills (Office, Outlook etc)
