This position is a Senior Occupational Therapist for the management of upper limb paediatric rehabilitation including immobilisation and mobilisation splinting.

This is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment commencing on 27 May 2021 for 12 months at 30.4 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s).

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
This is a Fixed Term opportunity while the substantive occupant is on a period of Parental Leave.

Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic person to the position of Senior Occupational Therapist, for the management of upper limb paediatric rehabilitation including immobilisation and mobilisation splinting. In this position, you will plan, implement and evaluate Occupational Therapy services using advanced occupational therapy practice skills providing appropriate screening, assessment, treatment and clinical review of designated caseloads.

The Child andAdolescent Health Service (CAHS) aims to ensure that the children and young people of Western Australia get the best start in life through health promotion; early intervention; and patient centred, family-focused care. 
CAHS employs over 4000 people and provides services throughout the community within metropolitan Perth; operating the State’s only dedicated Tertiary Paediatric Hospital (Perth Children’s Hospital); providing specialised state wide services; as well as providing support to other hospitals and health services across Western Australia.
