Create software on a global scale with Amazon’s team in Brisbane, Australia. Amazon is looking for passionate Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to join our team. You will build software for Amazon’s rapid fulfillment businesses for use across the globe.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline
· Industry experience
· Current Australian/New Zealand citizen/Australian Permanent Resident. Applications without full working rights are unable to be considered at this time.
· Experience in at least one maintainable language: Java, C, C++, C#, Rust, Kotlin, Scala, etc
· Experience in at least one higher-level language: Ruby, Python, Perl, Javascript, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience developing in a Linux environment
· Experience developing software on Amazon Web Services (AWS) platforms
· Effective verbal and written English communication
