Working as part of the allied health support team, you will provide clinical guidance, advice & assessments within group & individual therapy sessions, ensuring care plans reflect a person-centred approach whilst promoting independence of every client.
To include the assessment and review of equipment and room/home modifications to support clients care needs.
Utilising your ability to work cross functionally within a multi-disciplined team you will advise & educate allied health assistants & care support staff surrounding client care.
Summary Of Duties
- Undertake & review client care & equipment assessments
- Support & educate allied health assistants & care workers
- Liaise with other health professionals surrounding client care
- Ensure accurate completion of relevant documentation
- Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met
- Ensure funding models are met & updated
- AHPRA registration
- Experience working within hospital/residential/community aged care
- Understanding across various funding models
- Understanding & working knowledge industry standards
- Ability to identify & implement areas of improvement
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Current drivers’ licence with flexibility to travel within a geographic
