The Company
This is a well known financial services organisation providing banking solutions to a large number of Australian customers. The company is recognised for its high quality training and facilities and provides continuous opportunities for career progression. Due to some exciting growth within their credit division, are now looking to take on assessors in both their commercial and residential assessment teams.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful Credit Assessor your primary responsibilities will be to perform end to end assessment on either commercial or residential credit applications. You will demonstrate your excellent attention to detail through autonomously working through files whilst adhering to Banking policies and procedures. Furthermore you will:
- Work thorough credit worthiness assessment and thorough decision making
- Proactively re-package and communicate deal options
- Adhere to all audit and compliance requirements to prevent exposure to unacceptable risk
- Ensure that all credit applications are done within the appropriate time frame
- Maintain up to date knowledge of fraud trends and appropriate industry contacts
This role is best suited to someone who is highly analytical and driven to succeed. You will not shy away from a challenge and you enjoy working in a supportive team environment, additionally you will have:
- Have a DLA, DCA or CAD of minimum $1mil (essential)
- Be able to assess complex financials and understand tax documentation
- Minimum 5 years experience Credit Assessment within Australia
- Ideally will hold a relevant degree (BBus, BComm, BEcon, BMaths BAcc)
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders
