About the Role
As a lifeguard, you will play an integral role in not only ensuring the ongoing safety of the pools’ patrons but will be vital in establishing an excellent culture of providing great customer service.

The successful applicant will also have flexibility to work in a variety of shifts from Monday – Sunday, 6.00am – 9.00pm. Applicants need to be available throughout the December/January Holiday period and weekends.
The role includes:

• Supervision of pools, facilities and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring a safe environment for patrons by successfully managing risks and identifying potential hazards.
• Communicating effectively with all patrons and staff.
• Maintaining concentration for extensive periods.
• Contributing and co-operating to a team-oriented environment
• Working on the front desk and operating point of sale system
• Managing booking and swim school systems
• General administration tasks

About You

• Passion for water safety
• Enjoy creating a positive customer service experience

• Excellent observation skills and capacity to identify potential risks/hazards

• Great at problem solving and thinking on your feet
• Reliable team player
• Proactive approach
• Confident and shows initiative

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous lifeguard experience (preferred)
• Previous customer service experience (preferred)
• Pool Lifeguard Certificate

• Provide First Aid Certificate including CPR component
• DCSI Clearance or Working with Children Check
• Child Safe Environment Training – 7 hour course
