Maxima is assisting a State Government Department to develop a talent pool of Graduates to enter a Graduate Program. This is commencing immediately until the end of this financial year 2021.

This fantastic opportunity exists for a highly motivated and driven graduate to complement their degree with some real life work experience in a dynamic fast growing State Government department, while getting paid for on the job training.

The ideal candidate

To be considered you'll need:

• A degree qualification within a relevant finance discipline or can be near completion or recently graduated.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong focus on customer service and delivery
• Energetic and self-motivated.
• Keen to learn and develop
• Professional and confident
• Works well in a team
• Interested in working for Government
• Interested in working a 37.5 hour week 

Our duties will involve:

• Working and supporting the various teams within the finance, legal department and more
• Supporting internal projects including the bedding down of new systems

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A drive and willingness to learn 
• Passion and leadership qualities while being able to take direction with a willingness to succeed
• Positive attitude, ability to work in a team
• Strong persuasive communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or an Australian/NZ Citizen to apply.
• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications such as legal, finance and accounting
• Students who do not have these working rights will not be considered
• A current national police check (within 12 months)
