Amazon is looking for a Marketing Manager to drive communication and education initiatives for Selling Partner success in the Amazon Marketplace business in Australia. This role will support our current Product Marketing Manager to drive Selling Partner Success initiatives.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the creative strategy and development of scalable email templates and components, as well content for selling guides and workshops. We are seeking a candidate with HTML/CSS skills who can autonomously define and develop a suite of digital assets that are customizable, agile, and scalable across the Amazon Marketplace email channel. The ideal candidate for this role thinks strategically and executes flawlessly.
As a Marketing Manager, you will work with key stakeholders across product and marketing teams to design email templates and digital marketing assets that can be scaled across the broader organisation. You will engage with key stakeholders to leverage Amazon Marketplace style and branding guidelines as well as deliver on creative requests. To be successful, you’ll need to be a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and are willing to work autonomously, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Responsibilities include:
· Develop email templates from scratch based on HTML/CSS languages and make appropriate changes to current templates, as needed
· Create content for virtual and in-person training events, and coordinate with wider team to schedule and facilitate sessions
· Work with worldwide marketing managers, content creators, designers, program managers, and business leadership to align email initiatives with cross-functional team goals
· Develop an iterative testing strategy to gain insights and continually improve the customer experience through optimized messaging and targeting
· Analyze, report on, and optimize against performance metrics including open rate, click through rate, launch rate, and revenue lift
· Track best practices, monitor industry trends, and make business recommendations based on insights

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, UX design, or equivalent professional experience
· 1-2 years professional experience (willing to consider internships)
· Proficiency with HTML and CSS, plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
· Experience in a variety of tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
· Demonstrable experience as a writer or content marketer
· Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and the ability to apply them to create dynamic solutions in the email channel that are creative yet consistent
· Ability to identify better ways of working at scale through building new mechanisms and processes
· Experience using email and CMS campaign tools (Pardot, Marketo, etc.)
