Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of websites and web applications in compliance with software and services architecture.
  • Apply tools, standards, methods, and processes during development to ensure the successful delivery of business value and outcome.
  • Apply Agile methods in website and application delivery, and ensure the outcome meets acceptance criteria
  • Develop and maintain unit tests, test stubs and functional test scripts
  • Rectify any defects found during testing.
  • Take part in peer review.


Let's talk about your qualifications and experience:

  • 5+ years in a web application development role (Java development)
  • Java & Java frameworks - Spring (Core, MVC, Boot)
  • Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture
  • Experience in Web Application Server(WAS) is mandatory, will be good addition if have experience in Websphere Portal as well
  • Experience with administration and customization of content management system (eg. WCMS, Sitecore).
  • Experience in development of 3rd party application integration via RESTful APIs.
  • Web application development experience in Java, JSP, React, jQuery, NodeJS, Webpack, CSS, and HTML5.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks, such as Junit, Jest.
  • Strong experience with development tools such as GIT and JIRA
  • Understanding in how to build performant, decoupled, testable, maintainable code.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
