Hamilton Island is now seeking a Uniform Attendant for the uniform room. The uniform room is a busy and versatile outlet providing a range of services such as employee uniforms, alterations, guest laundry, iron and steam press for weddings, stock control and more.

About the Role

• Provide and receive uniforms from employees
• Ensure that employees looks professional according to HIE grooming standards
• Perform opening and end of the day procedure on a daily basis 
• Making alterations and repair to uniforms and other items when required
• Laundry, ironing and steam press for guests, island outlets and private vessels
• Ensure the store and equipment is kept clean, safe and tidy. 
• Stock uniforms when required 
• Maintain accurate uniform stock records

 
About You

• Excellent communications skills & patience
• Attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Experience in commercial sewing and alterations
• Excellent laundry, ironing and garment presentation skills. 
• Computer savvy
