Based in North Sydney, the role will be a shared resource between the NSW & ACT Business Unit and the Corporate Communications team that will focus on profiling our brand in the market and producing engaging and content for internal and external audiences.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Production of NSW & ACT Business Unit communications including newsletters, intranet content, reports and social media content
  • Provide communications support to projects in NSW & ACT and work closely with project teams to create engaging site-specific content
  • Support media and government project events where required
  • Produce internal and external communication to promote CPB Contractors work in the innovation space
  • Provide public affairs support to projects in NSW & ACT as required
  • Production of award submissions
  • Ensure communications and stakeholder audits for projects are met
  • Support the businesses client engagement strategy

To be successful in the position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in journalism, communications or media
  • Relevant experience at an Advisory/Manager level within Communications
  • Construction industry experience is preferred
  • A strong client focus and excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence
  • Strong planning and organising ability and a penchant for problem solving
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with demonstrated commercial focus and business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and strong conflict management skills
