What can our construction projects build for you?

The Project

Point Wilson is an explosives storage facility at the western end of Port Philip Bay, Victoria. The property has a 2.4-kilometre jetty used for loading and unloading explosive ordnance. The scope of the project includes remediation of the jetty and reconstruction of the wharf

Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking applications from Quality Advisors for the Point Wilson Waterside Infrastructure Remediation Project.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintain systems and practices as outlined in the Project Quality Plan and the requirements of the management system procedures
  • Assess and perform audit activities for consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors to verify compliance with contract requirements.
  • Monitor the integrity of quality related data recorded by site personnel in the Quality database and review non-conformance statistics to identify trends for improvement.
  • Review nonconformance dispositions, undertake root cause investigations and preparation of Quality Alerts
  • Quarterly internal auditing against Inspection & Test Plans
  • Maintenance and improvement of documents, procedures and checklists which form part of the Quality Management System.

Our minimum requirements for these roles are:

  • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within a Construction / Manufacturing site
  • Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management or Project Management
  • Knowledge of Quality Management processes in a Construction environment
  • Skills in monitoring, reviewing, reporting and continuous improvement on performance and compliance
  • Reporting, auditing and risk management procedures and processes
  • Understanding or ability to interpret specifications, contract requirements, drawings etc.
