JOB DESCRIPTION
The Family Relationship Centre is seeking an Expression of Interest from current UnitingCare staff that are interested in joining their team as a Family Support Officer based in our Hervey Bay office on a Full Time basis for a maximum term to 30 June 2021.
The Role:
The purpose of the position is to contribute to the operational objectives of the program by performing a range of administrative and customer facing functions to support the management and team of the Family Relationship Centre.
About You:
To achieve this purpose you will need to support the Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner by completing all initial client assessments, referrals, and support services for the clients using the Family Dispute Resolution Service in Hervey Bay and Maryborough, including management of the diary and bookings in conjunction with the Practitioner.
You will need to work sensitively with clients, maintaining a high level of professionalism and focusing specifically on child centred practices. Use Microsoft Office and other software to prepare information material, letters and correspondence for clients and the community. Provide assistance as required in the development and organisation of the community events and networking.
Supplementing this, the successful candidate will present with the following:
- A Degree or Diploma qualification in Human Services preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in using a variety of computer programs including maintaining databases, work and desktop publications
- Current Queensland Drivers Licence and Blue Card (or able to obtain one)
