- Remuneration Value: $55.49 - $62.38 p/h (FTE $109, 648 - $123, 262), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave
Buderim Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their Mental Health Unit in a permanent, full-time position.
About the Role:
Our Cooinda Mental Health team provides both inpatient and outpatient services; we have a state-of-the-art 33-bed acute inpatient unit, providing group therapy, assessment and evidence-based treatment for patients as well as a range of outpatient day programs available to treat a range of specific mental health issues.
Working as part of our mental health service in a Clinical Nurse Consultant position, you will be responsible for the advancement of nursing care for our patients through applying your clinical experience, education, knowledge and expertise in this discipline.
You will promote exceptional patient care in mental health, whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. Based on your experience, you will be assisting with providing supervision and guidance within a multi-disciplinary team, through effective decision making and support.
You’ll present with:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior clinical role within the mental health setting
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree with current unconditional AHPRA registration
- Evidence of mental health related post graduate study
- Knowledge of the National Standards for Mental Health Services and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (or working towards)
