Our client: Bidgerdii Community Health Service

About the Role:

Bidgerdii Community Health Service is seeking expressions of interest for an Administration Assistant. A temporary month-to-month contract is being offered for up to 3 months. The position will be 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The position will be responsible for scanning and uploading paper archived documentation into electronic files as well as assisting the Human Resource Department with asset disposal. These duties are to be carried out in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols, and time-schedules.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Ability to work within an administrative environment and to comply with legislative, policy and procedural requirements.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, efficient, and up to date information storage.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as take responsibility for your own work performance.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and meet work deadlines.

Additional Essential Factors:

1. Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD) – essential
2. Immunisation requirements – It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases: measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, hepatitis A and pertussis (whooping cough) during their employment.
3. Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
4. In line with legislation changes (no card, no start policy) all successful candidates must hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children and young people) prior to commencement.
5. Satisfactory Police Check
