This is a hands on, entry level finance position. The role has come about due to the growth of the organisation & will develop as the incumbent learns & progresses.

Assisting with every aspect of finance, with a strong administration focus to the role.

My client is a family owned business who have been operating for a number of years.

They are experiencing strong & stable growth, hence the new role.

The organisation has a good culture & one of success.

They are based in the Eastern Suburbs with limited public transport options, so having own transport will be crucial.

Description

The position itself will be suitable for an individual entering their finance career, perhaps having recently gained a degree in Finance. Alternatively, an individual who's looking to step down in their career will be considered.

The role will also have a heavy admin component - supporting the senior leadership team with things that need to be done across the board.

Your duties will include:

- Processing all the daily banking, with a focus on reconciliations.

- Credit card reconciliation

- Processing the accounts receivable & payable

- Assisting with month end processes

- Administration support & ad hoc duties where required

This is a hands on, versatile role seeking somebody who's happy getting involved where needed & helping where possible.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a finance background, with an understanding of the AP & AR process, accounting basics and a willingness to learn.

You will have an attitude of looking to support & add value where possible as well as good attention to detail and the ability to reach the Eastern Suburbs via car.

You will also ideally have some experience using a system such as Xero, MYOB etc.
