HR Officer

Employment Innovations (EI) is expanding its HR Advisory team and a vacancy has arisen due to business growth for an experienced HR Officer to join the team! This position is a true remote-first role which means we are open to any applicant's remote location in Western Australia.

There will also be a clear opportunity for career progression, either into an HR Business Partner role or a Team Leader position as our HR Advisory team continues to grow. You will work within a team of HR, legal and payroll specialists and will be fully supported in continuing to develop your career and expertise.

The role

Providing accurate and timely advice to our diverse range of clients to ensure HR practices comply with Australian legislative requirements (Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, EBA’s).
Supporting managers and employees on ER/IR matters involving terminations, performance management, workplace injury, workers compensation, bullying and harassment, theft etc.
Management of work health and safety for our clients (including the proactive control of risks as well as any injury claims).
Act as the first point of contact for clients and their employees for matters involving pay reviews, interpretation of minimum rates/conditions, identification of non-compliance, work rights, visa checks, and access issues.
Maintaining close relationships with your clients and being aware of developments and changes in their business.
The candidate

Qualifications in HR, law, business or similar fields
Proven experience in an HR Coordinator or Advisor/Officer role (industry association, HR provider, Fair Work Ombudsman or other organisation preferable)
Excellent levels of written and verbal communication skills
Experience and passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building quality working relationships
A team player with tonnes of energy, enthusiasm and a strong desire to grow your role within EI
The ability to learn new systems and technology quickly (previous experience in Employment Hero is advantageous)
