Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is a unique cross-border public health service and the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne. The Opportunity

Albury Wodonga Health requires a Vaccination Clinic Team Leader to join our newly formed Vaccination Clinic forming part of the newly formed Local Public Health Unit (LPHU). Work has commenced in appointing support roles and in establishing the LPHU, which is an important stepping stone in the development of a stronger, more decentralised public health system in the AWH Region.

The Vaccination Administration Team Leader (VATL), under the direction of the Program Lead & Operational Director – Public Health Unit, is responsible for the supervision of the Vaccination Administration Assistants, data input, extraction and reporting for the PHU, as well as providing a high level of customer service to all clients and internal and external stakeholders of this service. The Vaccination Administration Team Leader works closely with the PHU team and key stakeholders to provide an integrated catchment wide service response.

The Vaccination Administration Team Leader liaises with PHU team in ensuring data integrity and accuracy is of a high standard.

The AWH LPHU coordinates the public health response across five local government areas in the upper Hume region including Wodonga, Wangaratta, Alpine, Towong and Indigo. Establishment of the Public Health Unit (PHU) is part of a state-wide restructure of public health delivery in Victoria.

The Vaccination Administration Team Leader works with the Program Lead Vaccination Clinic, for all aspects of operational management: including governance & reporting structures, staffing, and managing the activity and budget of the Unit.

This role is Full Time Fixed Term for 6 months.
