The Position:
We are now seeking to engage a suitably experienced HEF Workshop Manager to join us at Hazelmere. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you are responsible for the overall production and output of a HEF workshop, specializing in steel fabrication and repair, machining, engineered solutions and hydraulic refurbishment.

Key to the role is prioritizing and planning WIP for DIFOT metrics, whilst ‘looking ahead' and seeing the bigger picture. Ideally, you will be from an engineering and fabrication background as you will need to draw on your technical knowledge and planning skills. Your management of established key personnel and gaining their buy-in, which in turn will have a positive effect on production and output.

About You:
Strong leadership and man-management within the job shop/fabrication industry;
Technically proficient across large and complex fabrication and machining;
Able to implement change and gain respect within large scale workforces;
Influence and engage a varying number of stakeholders;
Experience in the delivery of job shop scheduling

What to Expect:
Responsible for production, QA, and HSE across all HEF workshop(s)
Prioritizing and planning supply and WIP which will impact production.
The ability to ‘look ahead’ - Utilizing resources
Man-management and internal stakeholder engagement.
Technical/engineering understanding
Liaising with senior management on cost, manpower, and production
Understand and manage to key metrics
