This is a permanent full-time role located at Perth, Head Office.

About the Role:
This position is accountable for assessing the current state and to provide thought leadership to develop and drive an organisational Inclusion Strategy aimed at creating and sustaining an inclusive environment and diverse workforce. This includes identifying and prioritising issues and opportunities and taking the lead to develop, implement and evaluate associated projects and programs.

This position will play a critical role in consulting with and influencing at all levels within Western Power, including Executive and Board level. It will also work closely with other business leaders to ensure diversity and inclusion initiatives are leveraged to drive business results and to accelerate, guide and support effective and efficient achievement of the corporate strategy.

About you:
The successful applicant will have:
A thorough knowledge and understanding of theories, concept and approaches relevant to diversity and inclusion, as well as organizational change.
The ability to identify key strategic issues, opportunities and risks in creating an inclusive and diverse working environment and a track record of developing and implementing strategies, projects and programmes to address these.
10 + year extensive and progressive Human Resources or business-related experience in D&I, talent management/ acquisition and/or organisational effectiveness.
The ability to engage at all level of the organisation, including Board, Executive and Senior Leadership, with demonstrated ability to generate and communicate broad and compelling organizational direction to influence and guide decision makers
A seasoned professional with demonstrated ability to execute large, complex programs of work with the ability to provide significant guidance, advice, and counsel
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and individuals informally via a matrix structure across the organisation and deliver on set outcomes
Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills and exposure to risk management and governance processes
Exceptional facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related business discipline.
