Full-time (1.0 FTE)

Due to the resignation of Lisa Payne after many years of excellent service to the school, we invite high quality candidates to apply for this key leadership role in the school. To commence on or after 1st April, 2021 or as negotiated.
Overarching expectation of the role:
Possess a mix of Anthroposophical knowledge and applied Steiner education experience
Ability to contribute in a meaningful and collegial manner on the College of Teachers and the faculty Coordinator’s group
Management skills required to oversee a faculty of roughly twenty-eight dedicated and creative staff including classroom teachers, specialists, teaching and administrative assistants
Skills, attributes and experience:
Ethos and culture building
Coordinating calendar events, camps & excursions and timetabling
Support in recruitment of staff, including relief staff. Supervising and
coordinating relief staff as needed
Managing professional development opportunities for staff
Supporting, mentoring and caring for the wellbeing of staff
Overseeing implementation and evaluation of teaching, learning and the
curriculum
Overseeing the collection of data for accountability on standards, including
NAPLAN
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
Working with and supporting parents and guardians with their questions,
concerns and their involvement in sometimes complex education decision making, is a core part of the role. This may include a mediation role and or a direct intervention role
A current Working with Children Card (or the ability to be approved for one) and TRBWA registration are essential
