Eagers Automotive (AHG) are seeking multiple Trades Assistant’s to join our dynamic team to assist with New car builds across multiple franchises, based in Wangara.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Controller, these roles will be responsible for performing Delivery checks on new vehicles, fitment of Genuine Accessories, and much, much more.
These roles offer an exciting opportunity to be able to work on 7 different Automotive Brands and to be able to develop your skills across all them all!

If you’re interested in building your experience by working on multiple automotive brands, or if you’re looking to take your first steps into an in-demand trade, these positions could be for you.

Duties will include:
Assisting Technicians with preparing new vehicles, vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per the work order
Planning each assigned job for maximum efficiency
Fitting accessory items to new vehicles in line with manufacturer fitting instructions (Exciting and rewarding IKEA style fitting work)
Ensuring the customer gets their brand new car in a perfect condition with all requested items fitted.
What you will need to have to succeed in this position

Previous work involving working with your hands: e.g. flat pack assembly, wood working, labouring & metal work.
Valid Australian work rights
Valid Australian manual driver’s licence
Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency
Good communication and show initiative
Demonstrate a positive attitude
