Our Client is a part of a group of companies dedicated to managing the financial future of there client’s business and personal portfolios. From tax and accounting through to strategic business planning, the combined group have a comprehensive ability to ensure that the successful growing, protecting and distributing of their client’s wealth isn’t left to chance.

Based in stunning South Perth offices, the role reports to the Head of Wealth Management (HOWM) and is part of a smaller internal team. However, it is an integral part of the expansion of this portfolio moving forward.

Your role

The HOWM knows she cannot help her Clients realise their full potential while she is also managing the day-to-day matters and challenges of compliance and records management the portfolio generates (the ‘Practice Manager’).

Besides ‘simply making sure that everything runs smoothly’ (like an ‘Executive Assistant’) and holding similar experience in an administration-heavy role, there will also be a need to:

  • Have a work ethic of wanting to see an outcome for the client.
  • Accurately take instructions and implement these (and plan for contingency by knowing when to ask for help).
  • take on a predominantly service and task-based role that follows through on record keeping and compliance paperwork with the Client (the ‘Para-Planner’).
  • Although she cannot help the entire world… the HWOM does try! The successful candidate will understand this and will be confident to professionally challenge a scope of work and manage the client’s expectations.
  • Recognise the trusted role you hold in making very private transactions on behalf of clients.

And finally, coming from a finance background is not essential but having a background in managing and working within a compliance framework (internally and externally) is going to be extremely well-regarded.
