An opportunity exists for a passionate and results-driven People & Culture professional to join the GPC Asia Pacific team in Perth.

You will partner with our NAPA, Two Wheel Division and Repco store networks across Western Australia and South Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a progressive business in a time of strategic change. Reporting to the National People & Culture Business Partner, you will work closely with people managers and team members in delivering pragmatic and commercially sound people planning and advice. This is a true business partner role that will allow to you to fully submerge yourself.

Flexible work arrangements can be available, including some work from home opportunities. This role could suit an experienced Business Partner, but could also be tailored to a Human Resource professional looking to take the next step in their career.

As our new Business Partner, your focus will be:
Driving and supporting the GLEW program along with key people and engagement initiatives (Grow, Learn, Enjoy & Work Together)
Network growth and acquisition support, along with integration and change support
Coaching and supporting People Managers in how to best lead, inspire and engage their teams daily along with driving key change initiatives as our business continues to transform
Providing advice, support and People Manager coaching on performance, employee relations and complex workplace investigations
Ensuring there is a strong talent pipeline across all positions, aligned to Capability and Development programs and clear succession planning
Supporting safety programs and initiatives, as well as assisting the OHS team with people matters across the Zone
Being a positive and collaborative contributor to all People & Culture deliverables, and an engaged member of the wider People & Culture team

Ideally, you are:
Customer centric, people-focused and passionate about delivering commercial People & Culture solutions
Self-motivated and has solid People & Culture operational and tactical experience in multi-site sales operations
Committed to building strong working relationships and engaging with all levels of the business, and thrive in a fast paced environment
An excellent coach, communicator, planner and influencer
Solid working knowledge of current employment legislation, change management and People & Culture practices; which is supported by a degree qualification in People & Culture or a related discipline

You will be provided with high levels of autonomy and decision making ability. No two days will look the same and every day will provide you with a new and exciting challenge. With Business Partners and Advisors based in other states and the National People & Culture Business Partner based in Perth, you will never be alone should you require support or advice.
