We are a well established major Tyre Retail business in the Eastern Goldfields Region seeking to recruit a permanent full-time qualified Tyre Technician for immediate start. Our company has long track record of quality work that specialises in Suspension and Brakes. We cater for a vast range of passenger cars through to larger 4x4 vehicles.

We have modern equipment with the latest technology housed in a large well equipped workshop.

Job description

The successful applicant will be required to,

Have mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in their work

Hold a current WA "C" Class drivers license as a minimum.

Have strong time management skills.

Take ownership of their work.

Be a self-starter and work with a minimum of Supervision.

Pass drug & alcohol testing.

Be physically fit for at times a demanding role.

Carry out the following duties,

Removing and replacing tyres

Diagnosing tyre damage & wear

Diagnosing wheel balance problems and balancing wheels

Performing puncture repairs conforming to relevant standards

Selecting correct tyres tubes and rims and accessories.

Providing high standard of customer service.

Correct use of workshop machinery, equipment & tooling.

Learn wheel alignment procedures'

Learn wheel and tyre management technique.

Ensure that all documentation is completed fully and accurately.

Follow safe working practices and procedures, use PPE at all times, report all unsafe practices, situations and incidents to management within required timeframes.
