*** This position is not available to those on a Working Holiday Visa *** This family run property comprised of 7,000 ha cropping and around 5,000 head of sheep. The enterprise is situated in Pingaring; personified by a warm friendly spirit of friendship and cooperation is a hallmark of the Pingaring district and positioned between many small towns such as Kulin, Lake Grace, Newdegate, Hyden, Wave Rock and Varley. This successful endeavour is excited about recent opportunities leading to the expansion of their business resulting in an opportunity to welcome a Junior Farm Hand into their enterprise, to learn the business from the ground up!

Good Things to Know:
5 kms from local town with General Store.
Mix with the locals at the “Gumtree Pub”.
50 km from larger towns of Lake Grace, Kulin and Hyden all offering great community and community/shopping facilities, strong sporting clubs.
Nearest school is Lake Grace District High School with bus transport available for school aged children.
Kulin also offers a District High School.

About the Role:
Machinery operation includes seeding and harvest.
Animal husbandry skills, or the desire to learn and become an advocate of low stress sheep handling.
Mechanical/Workshop skills; maintaining machinery and general repairs and workshop tasks.
Minimum of unencumbered HR license.
Genuine career development opportunity to absorb farm operations with a view to ongoing progression through the business over time.

About You:
Must have a passion for the Agricultural industry; specifically, livestock care (Sheep) and broadacre cropping.
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning on the job.
Be flexible and show your eagerness to learn and grow.
Ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
Demonstrate the right attitude which will take precedence in the selection process.
Demonstrate maturity and a common-sense approach.

Salary: $60 - 65k (dependent upon skills and experience).
