Payroll Coordinator

Carer Solutions Australia - Melbourne, VIC

Voluntary, Charity & Social Work
Source: uWorkin

Carer Solutions Australia (CSA) was born in 2011 out of grievances with an industry defined by stigma, limited options and hard-to-navigate governing systems.

The aim of CSA is to increase the limited options available to people living with disability (we call our clients Partners) by enabling them to engage with support workers directly to assist them with their personal care needs. CSA empowers its Partners to employ their own support workers of choice and be an employer without the hassle.

Our Partners run their own lives. However, help doesn’t have a single definition; we help our Partners find theirs.

At CSA, we are scaling and motivating a change in expectations in the disability sector by creating collaborative relationships with our Partners emanating from a place of genuine heart, authenticity, and trust.

Our vision is to support and co-create a life full of choice and control for people living with disability.

No one else does it like we do!

CSA is looking for a Payroll Coordinator based in our Melbourne (VIC) offices to help deliver payroll services to our Partners and their support workers.

  • Collating and entering of timesheet data;
  • Completing any manual adjustments required for processing payroll;
  • Performing audit checks to ensure accuracy of payroll;
  • Processing payroll where required;
  • Maintaining database records of our Partners’ support workers;
  • Overseeing the entry of support worker paperwork into CSA’s systems;
  • Completing payroll-setup for new support workers;

  • Calculating and preparing annual workers compensation declarations;
  • Processing superannuation payments;
  • Responding to payroll queries from Partners/support workers/team members;
  • Regularly review and update payroll processes and procedures to ensure the payroll department is working efficiently and effectively as possible.

  • Strong experience in high volume data entry (Payroll experience is highly regarded);
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel experience;
  • Oracle/NetSuite experience would be advantageous;
  • Experience in the disability sector (NDIS) is not essential, but candidates will be expected to demonstrate a knowledge and appreciation of the industry and be motivated by the human impact opportunity;
  • Proficient in English;
  • Unrestricted right to work in Australia;
  • High-performers that thrive in a fast-paced and hands-on working culture;
  • Infallible integrity and confidentiality;
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage pressure and prioritise competing demands;
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written), and excellent phone manner

At CSA, we are a dedicated and highly human-centric bunch. We love what we do and have fun whilst creating opportunities for our Partners to have all the choice and control they want. Everyone in the team understands our purpose and lives it every day. We also reward our team for what they do, with fun stuff like - regular Uber Eats vouchers, Friday drinks sponsored by various teams a cool and newly fitted-out flexible office environment and a supportive and hands-on leadership team.

If this sounds like the opportunity you have been waiting for, we would love you to apply!
