Ross’s Diesel Service is a family-owned and operated business, running for over 30 years and located in Merredin. RDS has experienced significant growth in recent years and has developed a diverse parts department, including the Showroom merchandise consisting of big brands like Milwaukee, Kincrome and BossWeld.

About the Role
We are currently seeking either an experienced Parts & Merch Salesperson or an enthusiastic Trainee to join our team. The role is for a salesperson/trainee salesperson of our merchandise floor/showroom parts [Milwaukee products, power tools, hand tools and accessories servicing a variety of trades and industries].

Position is available for immediate start, though flexibility on start date is possible if required.

You will develop/hone your skills in:

· Customer service

· Product knowledge

· Determining customer requirements and advising on solutions and products

· Retail

· Inventory control / stock take and specialised software

· Maintaining merchandising standards and displays

· Data entry and invoicing

This role will suit you perfectly if you love working in a team-based environment and have a positive & professional nature.

All applicants will need to demonstrate the following skills to be successful in this endeavour:

• Excellent communication skills.

• A confident and professional sales manner

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

• Computer literacy skills

• Driver’s license is a must.

• Forklift license is desirable

• And above all, you must be willing to learn and enjoy what you are doing
