SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR
DOWERIN, WA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced person to take on the leadership and supervision of the recently established Dowerin Branch, Service Department. Join one of the leading & one of the last remaining family run, Large Machinery Dealerships in the Central Wheatbelt WA.

Located approx. 160kms NE of Perth in the heart of the Wheatbelt, Dowerin is a picturesque country town with a close-knit community. Home of one of WA’s major agricultural field days, excellent education opportunities, lifestyle blocks for the rural at heart yet only 1.5 hours drive to Perth.

The Service Department Co Ordinator’s position is responsible for managing the repairs and technical support in the Service Department for the nominated branch. A high priority is given to the management of operational functions, such as workflow management, hands on technical support & leadership.
This position is integral for bridging the gap between the customer and the Service Department, therefore must be conducted with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.

As the Supervisor you will be responsible for, however not limited to the following duties

Supervising staffing within the department (7 direct reports)
Workflows & monitoring & reporting of these
Building strong working relationships & culture
WHS, compliance, auditing & delivery of processes
Department maintenance (Workplace housekeeping, service vehicles, tools, resources)
Budgets, forecasts and reporting
Building robust client relationships

To be considered for this role you must be able to display experience, competency and or exposure in the following areas,

Trade qualified or broadly mechanically adept
Leadership & Workplace Culture
Office Co Ordination
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Keen eye for detail and accuracy
Effective time management skills
Outstanding work attitude and work ethic
Proven experience managing staff
