JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Schools invites applicants from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this permanent full time position at the Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) commencing 29 March 2021.
This position exists to support the administration requirements of the Information Communication and Learning Technology (ICLT) Team. In this role you will provide high-quality administrative support to the management and other officers within the ICLT Team.
Applicants will be supportive of the ethos and mission of CEDoW and understand the purpose of this position as ultimately serving the needs of the students and staff in our Catholic schools.
The ICLT team are looking for a motivated administrative professional who will help the team meet its potential. We need someone who is tech-savvy (or keen to have a go), focused on delivering excellent service to our staff and students and someone that has a high attention to detail. This is a key role in ICLT so you will be an experienced relationship-builder and skilled communicator who is able to work independently and demonstrate initiative to deliver outcomes. Essential Selection Criteria
- A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic Education System within the broader Catholic Church.
- Experience in administration and general office processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google suite of applications.
- Experience in accounting processes, data system and financial management procedures.
- Ability to process data in a variety of forms, produce reports and prepare professional development materials.
- Demonstrated ability to display initiative, discretion, sound judgement and confidentiality.
- Knowledge in the use of HP Records Management (TRIM).
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Effective organisational skills and demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.
- Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration.
- Minimum of two years of experience within an office environment.
This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children check is required prior to your commencement with us.
