The Role

Reporting to the Team Manager, the Health & Safety Consultant will contribute to the project and account management, while also having the technical ability to deliver a wide range of services to our clients. This role will be supported by a team of high performing technical experts.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Conducting safety audits and onsite contractor verifications for Greencap's diverse client base
  • Conducting physical, chemical and biological workplace assessments including fumes and vapours, indoor air quality, dust, noise, lighting, vibration, thermal stress, non-ionising radiation, fire, flood, mould
  • Providing detailed reports on findings and recommendations
  • Completing assigned projects within the timeframe to ensure they meet defined project objectives
  • Regularly communicate with external stakeholders such as clients and subcontractors, present technical information and canvas stakeholder feedback in a constructive and informative way
  • Resolve inquiries and at times provide technical advice to internal and external clients
  • Maintaining existing client relationships to expand regional business opportunities and services via proactive consultancy

About you

To succeed in this role, here's what we need:

  • A confident Health & Safety Consultant, who is passionate about the H&S practice.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in consulting practices
  • Demonstrated experience in OHS systems, hazard identification and risk assessment or occupational hygiene principles
  • An ability to develop, maintain and strengthen business partnerships as well as work cooperatively and collaboratively with others to achieve collective goals
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
  • A current driving licence is essential
  • Strong analytical skills and reporting
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement with a desire to achieve best practice outcomes
