The Project:
This project is an Iron Ore mine located in the Pilbara and the scope of work for our client includes open pit mining, mineral processing and drill & blast.
Working an 8:6 FIFO roster the OHP Superintendent will be responsible for managing safety, personnel and systems to achieve the required availability, capability and cost management of the Ore Handling Plant and equipment.
Working in this diverse environment, with a strong team culture committed to safety, you will be responsible for:
- Management and coordination of the availability, reliability and cost management of plant and equipment for the successfully delivery on our Ore Handling Plant;
- Supervision and coordination of all OHP production, maintenance and shutdown contractors at the OHP;
- Coordinate the planning, scheduling and implementation of all maintenance programs; and
- Assist with short to medium project development to evaluate progress against set objectives.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Extensive knowledge of a fixed plant/processing environment;
- Strong alignment to our client’s vision and values; and
- Influential leadership ability.
