We care about the communities we serve—because they're our communities too. We're designers, engineers, scientists, and project managers, innovating together at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships. Balancing these priorities results in projects that advance the quality of life in communities across the globe.

About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced Mid-Level Pursuit Specialist with strong end to end proposals experience to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a skilled team, producing high quality proposals, and other business development materials, in a timely and efficient manner. This role will report to the Pursuit Team Manager, and work across the Australian business supporting the other proposal team members in their pursuit efforts across the region, with a specific focus on the Mining, Water and Transportation markets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • \tBuild strong relationships with campaign and business development managers and other key staff, working together to build the Stantec business.

  • \tContribute to the content of tenders and business development materials. With the Campaign Manager, develop win themes, write and coordinate non-technical content, in concise Plain English, including for project profiles, track records, pen portraits, curricula vitae and executive summaries, customising content to fit the pursuit.
  • \tDevelop the proposal document structure, pull together shell documents and manage the master document. Where necessary brief and supervise graphic designers. Oversee the formatting and production of the final document for uploading to tender websites, and/or hard copies where required.
  • \tSupport the implementation of best practice in pursuits and bidding: Contribute to, and champion, Stantec proposal systems, processes, tools and databases and maintain key project descriptions and Curricula Vitae information onto the Stantec Sales, Marketing and Knowledge centre.

About you:

  • \tA Graduate degree or diploma majoring in marketing (Preferred but not mandatory according to experience), or degree qualified in another field but with demonstrated skills in marketing
  • \tMid-Level experience in a similar/related role.
  • \tExperience preferably working in Engineering, Construction, or another professional services industry
  • \tExcellent written communication skills, ideally with a strong ability to write, edit and review non-technical information to ensure it is written compellingly and in plain English.
