We have the perfect role for you!
We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Development Specialist to help drive our new product development and ongoing regulatory compliance across different global markets.
Working closely with key internal stakeholders, you will be involved in formulating our new products and continuing to improve our exisiting products to ensure that we are leading the global market in sports and fitness nutrition. This includes supplements, as well as the exciting new area of functional foods and beverages. You will also responsible for preparing submissions for our products across different markets and keep up to date with all regulatory changes. Your role will include:
Finalising and signing off on all product formulations and innovation
Liaising with our flavour houses, contract manufacturers and testing labs in relation to product development and specifcations, approvals and ongoing testing and product quality assurance
Coordination of document packages for regulatory submissions
Monitoring the progress of submissions through contact with regulatory bodies
Keeping internal teams up to date with progress regarding product registration in different countries, as well as compliance
Lead and sign off product labelling and specifications
Providing regulatory advice to other parts of the organisation to ensure compliance in decision making and strategy
Keeping up to date with regulatory changes and communicating them with the team
About You
You will have a university degree in nutritional science, naturopathy, pharmacy or similar as well as experience in a similar role
Solid understanding of TGA, WADA, Food Standards and the AUSTL schedule
Experience and a keen interest in sports supplements
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
Team player
