SENIOR ANALYST (TICKETING)

  • Annual Salary Range: VPS5 - $101,120 - $122,348 + Super
  • Tenure: Fixed Term until 10 January 2023
  • Employment Type: Full Time (flexible work arrangements may be available)

About the Team

Part of the Customer Experience division, the Ticketing branch identifies and enables change to improve the consistency of ticketing and revenue protection services across public transport in Victoria, driving positive change in the overall customer experience - including the implementation of new technologies. To put this into context, the myki ticketing system involves more than 23,000 devices across Victoria and facilitates in excess of 500 million annual passenger journeys.

About the Opportunity

The Senior Analyst (Ticketing) plays a key role in providing analysis/advice that enables DoT to effectively manage revenue protection activities, the ticketing service agreement and related agreements. This ensures contractual deliverables/revenue protection goals are met and that DoT is driving value from the agreements and related risks.

This role coordinates the deployment of Multi-Modal Authorised Officers and supports operational and performance compliance activities related to revenue protection across the public transport network.

About You

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence external and internal stakeholders to build positive and effective relationships supporting the implementation of policy initiatives.
  • High level problem solving and quantitative/qualitative analytical skills (Excel Spreadsheet & SQL queries), including the ability to develop a range of solutions to a problem and assess these against objectives.
  • Sound understanding of complex contractual arrangements, in relation to performance incentive regimes, payment mechanisms and commercial arrangements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data including the ability to draw inferences and generate comprehensive and authoritative reports, analysis, and advice on operational performance incentives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities/stakeholders and produce results on time.
