Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver, transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.
The position.....
Reporting into the HR Solutions Team Leader, the HR Administrator will work closely with their fellow HR Advisors and Senior HR Advisors, providing excellent customer service to the organisation on all things HR related.
The responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- On-boarding new employees through face-to-face appointments
- Collecting and reviewing HR and other related documents for a new starter
- Completing pre-employment checks such as Police Checks, Working with Children Checks, Visa’s etc.
- Creating new employee files
- Creation of Security and Name badges
- Triaging and logging of queries received to the HR Solutions inbox
- General office administration duties (mail sorting, filing etc.)
- Actively support the HR Solutions department
- Other duties as required

This position would ideally suit someone who has recently finished studying a HR qualification and looking for that first step in their career to gain a foundation in Human Resources.
