• Access to the Grade 4 salary range $85,950 - $91,807 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.

Permanent, full time and part time, shift work (fully rotational), working up to 76 hours per fortnight

Duties

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team which is focused on providing person-centred care in the Geriatric and Palliative Care specialty areas. Peacock 1 is a light, modern purpose-built ward located within the Repatriation site on Davey Street overlooking the city of Hobart and the Derwent River.

Essential Requirements

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:

a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty

3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check
