What are we looking for?
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘your key responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated contemporary knowledge, skills and ability in Anatomical Pathology, and a high level of professionalism required in the position, especially objectivity.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills necessary for all aspects of the position.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and abilities necessary to conduct relevant training, teaching, research, investigation, analysis and management.
- Knowledge of the ISO 15189 NATA Medical Testing Requirements demonstrating continued accreditation in your clinical specialty for all laboratories across a diverse network
Mandatory qualifications, professional registrations or other requirements
- Mandatory requirements are a medical qualification and tertiary qualification in Anatomical Pathology (FRCPA, or equivalent) and be registerable with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Specialist Pathologist.
The incumbent must be a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia or equivalent
