Accountabilities include:
• Provide effective and efficient frontline customer service for the general public including a full range of counter services for passenger and school transport products;
• Monitor the School Transport Information Management System (STIMS) to ensure the integrity of data, accountability, audit process and system deadlines are met and assist in the management of the School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS), STAS application assessments, and fare section reviews;
• Coordinate and supervise the operation of transport arrangements for students with disabilities where required;
• Deliver customer service and provide advice and feedback to stakeholders on legislation, policy and operational delivery Investigate and report on difficult complaints related to operational matters and assist in the investigation and resolution of issues;
• Assist with the preparation of submissions, ministerials, briefing notes and other correspondence as required;
• Assist with contract management and monitoring operational performance under service contracts with particular emphasis on contract compliance and operational delivery;
• Act in accordance with the Queensland Public Sector legislative framework and Code of Conduct. Model ethical behaviour including being consistent in words and actions. Be viewed as trustworthy and respectful of the views of others.
