This position reports to the Principal Advisor, Quality and Compliance Unit within the Investment Division of DESBT. As Lead Auditor key aspects of the role include:
• Assisting in the planning and conduct audits of registered training organisations for Pre-qualified supplier (PQS) compliance, and provide advice regarding PQS compliance matters to a range of stakeholders regarding audit outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate, valid and comprehensive electronic records of audit related information in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Contributing to VET Quality service delivery to ensure the focus is on achieving the goals of financial and operational management plans and the Department’s strategic plan.
• Contributing to assigned project related activities, ensuring agreed outcomes and timelines are met.

While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, practical experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
