Outdoor Recreation Cleaner / Maintenance Officers

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently looking for several cleaning/maintenance workers to work within established teams at a large outdoor recreational client, that hosts various activities for schools and groups.

If you enjoy working outdoors, interacting with different visitors and offering a high level of customer service whilst ensuring safe and operational surrounds – this role is for you! On the job training and development, work life balance and make a difference in the community.

Duties and responsibilities will include, and will not be not limited to:
• Perform maintenance/cleaning of venue facilities including accommodation, ablution blocks and indoor facilities
• Minor building, grounds, maintenance, and preventative maintenance repairs
• Sports equipment repairs
• Pool maintenance duties
• Other general maintenance duties
• Maintenance equipment inventory
• Preparing facilities for client use
• Completing daily inspections of facilities to ensure they are ready for use, escalating issues where applicable.
• Handling/disposal of various types of waste

What we are looking for:
• Previous experience in a similar role (tourism, recreation and hospitality industries)
• Positive Blue card – mandatory
• Current first aid and CPR certificate – mandatory
• Availability outside of operational hours (6am to 6pm)
• Pool life guard qualification – highly desirable
• Pool operations experience – highly desirable
