An exciting opportunity exists for highly motivated and experienced Administration Assistant to join our occupational health business, Jobfit Health Group, on a casual basis

Jobfit Health Group delivers a broad range of occupational healthcare services to thousands of businesses nationally, including pre-employment medical assessments, work fitness assessments, injury management and prevention, drug and alcohol screenings, onsite medical services, health surveillance and health and wellness programmes.

The Administration Assistant is the first point of contact for our major client, and we place the utmost importance in ensuring they receive a professional and friendly service that delivers a positive experience. Reporting to the State Manager, the position further supports our team of dedicated doctors and clinical staff who provide medical services to assist our clients with managing occupational health amongst their employees. The position is casual and is based in Sydney NSW.


  • Provide the highest level of customer service to the employees and candidates of our client.
  • Recognise and uphold the rights of all candidates accessing services, including maintaining cultural sensitivity.
  • Operate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and ensuring an environment that encourages teamwork, personal and professional development, customer service and excellence in performance.
  • Understand service offered by Jobfit to the client and the time required or any other specific requirements related to the contract.
  • Providing daily reporting to the client representatives as outlined in procedure manual.
  • Administration support to Medical Practitioner for provision of follow up letters, coordinating review and reassessment.
  • Identify and report any potential problems or disruptions to State Manager which could relate to the interruption of business or impact upon the Jobfit service provision to the client.
  • Welcome and assist client representatives, candidates and visitors with their enquiries and appointments.
  • Arrange medical bookings and paperwork for appointments.
  • Coordinate and track all medical results and provide updates to client.
  • Send medical determination to approved client representatives.
  • Comply with privacy and confidentiality principles to all work practices including the Fullerton Health Australia policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or a medical setting as a Receptionist or Medical Administration Assistant.
  • Current clean drivers licence.
  • Certificate in Business Administration or similar (highly regarded).
  • Intermediate computer knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
