Join one of the leading Telco’s within the country who have a focus on delivering quality work within a collaborative environment. Within this role You will be dealing with internal projects such as, Customer Facing Units, mobile, consumer, wholesale, Business & any internally generated projects from IT initiatives.

Examples of projects within the team are as follows:

• Requests for capacity upgrades to existing systems
• Infrastructure for new applications
• Remediation or consolidation/virtualisation projects for existing systems
• Major projects, such as new Internet portals, customer care or billing systems.
• Impact assessments of business or application changes

• Requirements gathering
• Development of solutions with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, and support teams
• Production of High-level solution designs
• Production of cost estimates for projects
• Production of detailed solution designs
• Technical coordination and support during system build.
• Production of Implementation plans

• Windows Server and Citrix NetScaler
• Virtualisation technology – ESX, Xen, IBM P Series and Sun
• Public clouds, mainly AWS
• Windows Server and Citrix
• RedHat Enterprise Linux, AIX and Solaris
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with senior managers and customers with varying degrees of technical capabilities
• Strong customer focus ethic and stakeholder/expectation management capabilities
• Ability to negotiate the appropriate technical solution to meet business requirements.
